“It was a great pleasure to receive the Pride of Fenland award in the Recreation and environmental category. It was really humbling to see the large number of volunteers that we have in Fenland and to see the vast range of work that they do. I, like many others do not do it for the accolade, but because we enjoy it, and we hope that it helps to make Fenland a better place to live for everyone. Having said that it is always nice when people acknowledge and recognise the work that is done. A big thanks for nominating me and to all those who work alongside me on various projects”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
